Our chapter has two Ronald McDonald Houses.
One in Washington DC near Children’s National Hospital and the other in Northern Virginia on the campus of Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Both Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child — not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest.

All families who wish to stay with us are required to complete the room referral process and pass a background check. Referrals can only be made through staff at the hospital where the patient is being treated. Once the referral has been processed and approved, one of our staff members will contact you with instructions on how to complete the online background check. After the background check results have been processed, a staff member will contact you to discuss room availability. Please note that completing this process does not guarantee a room for you and your family.
