After learning about Ronald McDonald House, Desi organized a bake sale at his school and raised $312 entirely on his own. He also collected and donated three large bags of pop tabs, turning a simple idea into real support for families staying close to the medical care their children need.
It’s easy to look at a child and see someone who is still learning about the world.
Desi reminds us that children can also teach us.
They teach us that generosity doesn’t require wealth.
That leadership doesn’t require a title.
And that one person — regardless of age — can make a meaningful difference.
